On the evening of October 16, Parkinson’s Pointe hosted our annual fundraiser, themed Movement and Miracles. Because our classes and educational resources are always free, we rely on our community to come together and support these programs. And what a night it was!
We had 140 people in attendance, including 10 volunteers, many members, board members, instructors, and community leaders. Thanks to your generosity on this night of celebration, we collectively raised $104,800- nearly $5,000 above our goal!
This exciting event at the stunning Inverness Hotel featured a Live Auction with elite travel packages, Golden Ticket winning opportunity, and a lively Paddle Raise, not to mention delicious food and craft cocktails! If you weren’t in attendance, we would love to have you join us next year!
These funds will support our regular classes for over 260 members, including cycling, boxing, strength and balance, yoga, Tai Chi and others. We also use this funding for our educational classes, where members explore topics such as: emotional wellbeing, care partner support, fall prevention, the latest PD research findings, and other important topics that are beneficial to the entire care team.
Thanks to your support, we are confidently heading toward 2026 with exciting plans for our community. If you wish to contribute toward the success of this event, it’s not too late! You can click here to give
With deepest gratitude, we’d like to thank our sponsor The Perry Foundation, our cochairs Jeremy Keck and Mike Huber, those who attended and generously donated, and each member of our incredible community. Thanks to all of you who are helping ensure that no one has to face Parkinson’s Disease alone.
