
Richard G. Pearce, Jr. is a Chattanooga native, having attended Boyd Buchanan for elementary school and McCallie for high school, graduating in 1997. He then attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, graduating in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. More importantly, he met his wife, Christy Friday Pearce, while attending Samford. Richard remained at Samford to obtain his Masters in Business Administration and his law degree from Cumberland School of Law, graduating in 2004. Richard practiced law in Chattanooga for five years before moving to Lexington, Kentucky, Nashville, Tennessee, and eventually Colorado Springs, Colorado as part of his wife’s medical practice as a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician. Richard and Christy have three children. They enjoy skiing, hiking, playing sports with their kids and exploring all that Colorado has to offer. They attend Woodmen Valley Chapel in Colorado Springs.
