This year’s Wellbeing Symposium promises to inspire, educate, and bring our community closer together. This spring’s event will include a deeper dive into our emotions around PD, small break out sessions for both People with Parkinson’s and Care Partners, as well as a Community Partners Expo.

This year’s agenda:

  • 9:30 am Welcome, coffee and snacks
  • 10:00 am Mary O’Hara to introduce the topic “Making Peace with Difficult Emotions: Tending to Grief, Guilt, Fear, Anger and Stress
  • 11:00 am break
  • 11:15 am move to breakout sessions 
    • Carepartners (lead by JillDuffy with the Negative Space on “Anticipatory Grief”)
    • People with PD move into separate small groups to workshop (speaker TBD)
  • 12:00 pm complimentary lunch and expo
  • 1:00 pm Jenine Camins on “Emotions in Motion, Expectations Retired”
  • 2:00 pm conclusion
